Let's expand on this a bit...

listening: My sweet Chloe has really bad allergies in the fall and has to be on steroids during the bad part of the season, or else she scratches her face all up. :(  But, the steroids make her soooo thirsty and hungry.  I swear she's gained 10-15 pounds in the past two weeks.  If there's any water in the bowl, she immediately drinks it all...it's a vicious cycle.  Drink. Pee. Drink. Pee.  And my poor Sampson, who's usually the dominant one has to fight to get anything to eat or drink!  Hopefully allergy season is almost over with - poor thing!

loving:  WooHoo!  Are you as excited as I am that tomorrow is a DAY OFF!?  I plan to get up, vote early, check on my sis who is having a minor surgery, do a lil' work, and get my hair done!  I live for highlight day! ;)

thinking:  I started making these morning work PowerPoints for my kiddos to save paper and I must admit I'm loving them.  But, boy-oh-boy, are they time consuming to make!  I'm well into the 3rd quarter one and really just want to have them FINISHED!  I have a feeling I'll be finishing them over Thanksgiving break.

wanting: I REALLY just want to have a few hours to curl up and read a good book!  I haven't read a book since the beach.  As in the week of July 4.  Not sure where the rest of my summer went, but I'm very sad about this.  I read a really good suspenseful book by a new (to me) author (Gone Girl) while on vacation, downloaded another book from the author on the way home and haven't touched it since.  *whine*

needing:  So, what do you wear to a Madonna concert?  This is my dilemma.  I'm super excited that it's less than two weeks away, but I have got to get on it!  Maybe I can squeeze in a little shopping tomorrow?

music:  Let's face it...I'm always listening to Maroon 5 (super pumped about getting my tickets to see them in 2013 already!) and Flo Rida....two of my faves! :)

Don't forget to join my incredible giveaway for the Maggie Tote if you haven't already!!  I swear, I swoon every time I see it...

  1. Funny we should both have "slurping" in our Currently's...yours was probably more appropriate to share, however! ;)

  2. My friend went to see Madonna on this tour and was amazed. Have fun! I need to find time to read a good book too... I haven't read a book in so long. It's so sad. I need a good book recommendation. I miss getting into a good book.

  4. That's very interesting... I don't know of any schools that are off for the election. Is this common in the south?

  6. You lucky duck getting tomorrow off! Enjoy it :) I feel ya on the book... I LOVE to read and haven't taken the time to read a good book in a while. Maybe I'll take your suggestion above! I love Maroon 5 and Flo Rida.. my volleyball girls knew to have those on our warm-up cd... we could jam out together :) Happy almost election day!

  7. I co-teach with a teacher that does her morning work on powerpoint, and she loves it. Just comes in and flicks her computer on so she's ready to go! Plus it's environmental friendly. I feel ya on the time consuming powerpoints. That's no fun!

Enjoy the day off! I sure will be.

  8. Hmmm...I think so, Diane! I assumed most had the day off tomorrow. I grew up here and we've always had election day off from school.

  10. so jealous you had today off... we should have because we are a polling site and having numerous strangers in and out of our school allllllll day is not safe in my opinion....

  12. I saw Madonna in September! Amazing!

You can wear: your favorite 80s outfit......skimpiest clothes....best drag queen attire.... Based on my observations from the concert!

    Have fun!
