Now, on to the Currently...

Listening: Today has been a day of PJs and college football.  Now that my Gamecocks have pulled out their win, I can sit back and watch for enjoyment. ;)  It's rare that the hubs and I have a day off together since he works on weekends, so we're just enjoying a lazy day at home.  And, I love it!

Loving:  Have I mentioned how much I love these JAG jeans??  Oh.Em.Gee.  I live in them now.  Life-changing, I'm telling ya!  I now have their jeans, leggings, and corduroys (which may be my favorite) and I may never buy another brand of pants.  I'll tell you about them, but they're not going to sound appealing.  BUT, they ARE!  I PROMISE!  Go to your nearest little local boutiques and find someone who carries them.  They are pull-on jeans (I told you - they sound so grandma-ish, but they don't look it!) They don't have zippers or buttons - they have a wide waistband so that you can wear fitted tops over them and still have a smooth look.  And, they are sooooooo comfy!  They're corduroys come in boot-cut and skinny-legged.  LOVE!  I get mine from this little boutique near me - maybe they ship!

Thinking:  I need to finish a little craft project I have going.  It's going to {hopefully} be a way for me to store all of my arm candy LOVE since my bracelets are starting to TAKE OVER my earring drawer.  I'll give you a hint - paint rollers.  I'll try to post about it tomorrow {or maybe a little sneak peek on Instagram later tonight.}

Wanting:  I want a book that's so good, I just can't put it down.  I have a stack of books on my nightstand and I've started several of them.  They're by my favorite authors so I know I'll enjoy them, but they're also kind of predictable since I know the authors so well.  I need a "can't put it down" book!  You know, like the whole 50 Shades trilogy or Gone Girl - any suggestions?  I'm definitely more of a suspense/thriller girl typically.

Needing:  My one little word for 2014 is going to be "present."  As in, live in the PRESENT.  I'm a planner.  I'm always planning ahead, worrying about the future, and rarely take the time to just relax and ENJOY the present.  That is my goal for this year.  I need to remember it.

Memory/Tradition:  Since it's just the hubs and I, we open presents here on Christmas morning and then head to my parents' house.  I love the fact that now we're able to spoil our parents the way they spoiled us when we were little.  I got my parents several small gifts this year and then surprised them with bicycles!  My dad had been wanting a cruiser for a couple of years.  He enjoys riding at the beach each summer so this year, I go him one.  And of course, I got my mom one so she could ride with him.  Watching him ride down the street on Christmas morning was priceless!  I don't think my mom was as thrilled (this was definitely for him), but she did love how cute her bike was! ;)  Then, her big present (which she thought that was it) was an iPad Mini.  I love the gift of giving!  I also loved the fact that my mom called this morning to tell me that she and my dad rode at the park today and that it "was so much fun!"  LOVE!

  3. I know what you mean about a good book. I'm in the middle of the Divergent series. You may have already read them, but they are great and definitely an "I can't put them down" series.

  4. Have you read Defending Jacob? It's so good and definitely has a lot of twists. I also just read In the Blood by Lisa Unger and it was hard to predict.
