Let's face it. This time of year is always super busy and I'm usually trying to prepare student gifts at the last minute. Why? Because I wait and wait and wait until the "perfect idea" comes to me....and sometimes it just doesn't. This is how I tend to shop for Christmas gifts in general. Not good.
So, I'm thrilled about this linky to get some new ideas! I'm going to share with you my gift to my students last year.
The "main" gift was a framed personalized picture for each student as a keepsake from 2nd grade...
I created the word collages using www.wordle.com. I used students' favorite colors on the collage, and included their favorite things plus my favorite qualities about them. I bought frames from The Dollar Tree. Super easy and great little keepsake. ;)
I created a little "survey" to give to the kids to make recalling some of their favorite things a little easier for me. You can download that here:
I also added a little cup of goodies to go along with this. The cup including Snowman Soup, a couple of books (thanks Scholastic points!), pencils, erasers, straws, candy canes...the little things that kids love.
I put them all together in a little red cup to resemble Santa (just add electrical tape and a washer...that's right...raid the garage!)
You can read my original post from last year HERE if you're looking for ideas for a classroom party, too.
Don't forget to pick up a little Christmas present for yourself, too! Our TpT shop is hosting our
