Must-Read Monday {Poetry}








We are in the midst of our poetry study right now.  Have I ever mentioned how much I LOVE teaching poetry?  Today, I thought I would share some of my favorite picture books to use while teaching students how to read and write this genre.

    Dogku is an amazing book! Perfect for haiku and my students love it. I will have to check out Silver Seeds for acrostic poems!

    I had never heard of Dogku but I think it would even make my middle school boys enjoy haiku! :)
