A Little Teacher Love in the Mail Every Month!!

Oh my word!  Thanks to instagram {my new love} I found the cutest new blog with the BEST idea for teachers!

Have you heard of Birchbox, Kiwi Krate, etc. where you get a little box of love in the mail every month?

Well, let me introduce you to SLANT Box {Sending Love Across the Nation to Teachers}.

Here's the gist - You sign up when you want to participate.  That's right - it's not a long term commitment.  If you're too busy to participate one month, just don't sign up that month!  Once you sign up (by the 3rd of the month) you will be paired with two other teachers.  One will be a teacher that you will send items TO and the other will be a teacher that you will receive a box FROM.

Each month there will be a "theme" (maybe a season, or a color, or a topic).  You fill your box with at least five items related to the theme that you think your partner will enjoy.  The box should have a value of at least $10 - you can BE CREATIVE and make things, etc.

You find out your partners on the 5th of the month and don't have to send your box until the 20th, so hopefully by snooping around  following their social media {you can learn a lot about a person from their instagram photos!!} you will have a good idea of some things they will love!

HOW fun would it be to get a little box of love every single month??  It would be like your birthday over and over and over again - only better, because you wouldn't actually be getting a year older each time! :)
