I taught middle school last year and many of my students had phones so I would send reminders and encouragement to them. This year I'm teaching 5th grade. My communication will be mainly with parents, but it is awesome!

My recommendation would be to send out some encouraging words ever so often. This will really hook the parents in because they are excited to hear about the great things going on in your class! Have a great year!
Keisha
Mastering the MiddleMastering the Middle with Mrs. McHarguehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07154009346915800847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8533213618539100325.post-79096985101474962752014-08-16T10:32:20.325-04:002014-08-16T10:32:20.325-04:00Congrats on winning the scavenger hunt!! I hate stuffing folders with reminders that parents don't even read. I'm hoping that all my parents sign up so I don't even have to worry about those papers! Have a great year!

Karen
An Apple a Day in First Grade
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8533213618539100325.post-6402281434435451972014-08-16T00:53:11.620-04:002014-08-16T00:53:11.620-04:00Remind is AWESOME! I made a cute QR code that I displayed at my Meet the Teacher/Open House so it was easy for parents to sign up and get my info! Good luck this year!

Kelly
Sliding Into Second Grade
Kelly Danielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00275727680064505424noreply@blogger.com
